Trump changes tune over wages after Sanders broadside - who's the real leader?

"Wages are too high," said delusional presidential candidate, Donald Trump a few months ago. Was he referring to the $7.25 per hour minimum wage, perhaps?

However, he appears to have had a change of heart (hear the sound of that stampede? That's people rushing to find out whether he actually has one). This occurred after Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders called him out on his delusional statement(s).

Not that it matters much since, if you are of a sane disposition, you are not part of the 30% Republicans who believe this man to be a worthy candidate for the US presidency. If anything, reading this piece will highlight to you the notion that true leaders are those who do not shout or coerce others to follow them (and propose to keep a database of certain nationals like, for example, Hitler did with the Jews just a few decades ago). True leaders inspire others to change.

Donald Trump is a bully and should not be the next POTUS

People tend to cite the First Amendment to protect their right to express themselves in any way they see fit.

"I am just saying what's on my mind!" They cry. Well, you know what, you are also sharing space on this planet with over seven billion other people that might react in disparate ways to your statements and actions and how will you protect yourself against that? Will you retort with kindness or will you take a 'hard line' against those who disagree with you? Will you be comfortable getting involved in a ping pong game of retaliatory actions just because you had to get it out of your system and say what was on your mind?

While I thoroughly understand people's needs to be outspoken at times, I feel that it would be wiser to pick our battles' reaction palette. As in, sometimes, they could be of a deep red kind and at others, perhaps a wallpaper beige might suffice. Mainly because this is not our planet, we are not dictators (not even in our own homes,…
