Eric Schneiderman is not a monster - he is just a very naughty boy

Before I went to bed last night, I read the  article in the New Yorker  where four women accuse Eric Schneiderman (the now ex-Attorney General of NY) of violence. I was disappointed to find out that he resigned a few hours after the news broke, but his reasons made sense.  "In the last several hours, serious allegations, which I strongly contest, have been made against me. “While these allegations are unrelated to my professional conduct or the operations of the office, they will effectively prevent me from leading the office’s work at this critical time." The modern-day Marquis de Sade? To me, the New Yorker piece screamed of BDSM used on people who weren't that familiar with it or its power dynamics. This was no  'Fifty Shades Of Grey' (a movie that's usually ridiculed by the BDSM community for being soccer mums' pap). It stands to reason that people without true insights or experience into this subculture would label these practices  as 'viol
